Malla Sombra

Malla sombra is a fabric which has gained popularity over the years in La Paz. It can be weaved or tightened, and in most cases can come in any shape or size. It is the most economic shade, while they can be anchored into concrete, wood or steel. During strong winds or rain, they can be easily removed.

Wood

Wood is a popular choice with the term palapa and pergola largely referring to a wooden structure. Aesthetically they look beautiful, and wood can be varnished to the desired color. With the correct installation and maintenance, wood structures are durable and can withstand strong winds.

Steel

Steel has brought itself back into fashion in recent years and they also provide a great option for a shaded area. Skilled workers can weld pieces to create beautiful designs, while there is more flexibility in terms of color and representation.
